COMMERCIAL HORTICULTURE DEVELOPMENT Scheme

National horticulture board is an autonomous society established by government of India with headquarters in Haryana, Gurgaon in 1984.

Commercial horticulture development scheme is the sub-scheme of Mission for integrated development of horticulture (MIDH).

AIM AND OBJECTIVES :

  • Development of commercial hi-tech horticulture hubs.
  • Development of infrastructure for various cluster projects
  • Establishment of commercial production units with credit assistance in
  1. Open field conditions on project mode
  2. Protected conditions on project mode
  3. Projects on integrated post-harvest management and primary processing of products

ELIGIBILITY FOR ASSISTANCE

  • A natural person
  • Group of individuals
  • A legal person
  • Self help groups
  • Marketing federations
  • Agriculture produce marketing committees

DOUMENTS TO BE ENCLOSED

  • Application form in the prescribed format
  • Certified land records
  • In case of land lease, lease deed need to be submitted
  • Detailed project report (DPR)
  • Acknowledgement from lending bank , if applicable
